Happy Holly Day Season!

Greetings!

After all of the recent festivities, it’s time to relax and to prepare for the coming year. We had an excellent communion service in November, hosted by our Circle of Light ministers, and an excellent Solstice Dinner, and now it’s time to look ahead to the World Peace Day meditation coming up on December 31, 2012, at 6 AM. Now, for a little history. The first World Peace Day, also known as World Healing Day, occurred in 1986 CE, and has been continually going ever since. It is a synchronized time all over the globe for groups of people and individual people to gather together in the name of promoting global peace. Of course this can mean different things to different people. Some groups celebrate this auspicious time by having meditations; other groups have celebrations to raise and focus the energy of peace to send it out into the world for the greatest healing impact. This event is synchronized to noon Greenwich time, which is 6AM in St Louis, and by doing this, the amount of energy is magnified by the number of people that participate globally.

Here at Circle of Light, we celebrate with a guided meditation, and occasionally activities, and have a breakfast afterwards at a local restaurant. The doors will open around 5:30AM, and the meditation will begin at 6AM, or shortly thereafter. All are welcome to attend, but please keep in mind that we have a fire code of about 50 at Pathways.

Wherever you are, keep this auspicious time in mind so that you can lend your energy for the cause of global peace. After all, as this progresses, it shifts the whole of the planet into the realm of peace and enlightenment, and will have long lasting positive consequences.

Blessings,

Rev Bill
